2011 at our house

We had a great weekend at Steamboat Springs with friends.

On the slopes at Steamboat.

Our first historic hotel visit, The Broadmore in Colorado Springs.

We got a camper top for the truck and took a back roads road trip on the Goldbelt Byway.

Lydia and I walked in the Bolder Boulder to raise money for Living Water International to dig wells in Haiti.

We took a road trip to Alabama for a family weeding.

And on the way home went by Texas to visit with more family.

Lydia and I visited The Peck House, the oldest hotel in Colorado.

We took a picture of Lydia on the stairs which she dubbed a
'Nancy Drew pose' and a new tradition was started.

The Stanley was not near as creepy as Stephen King had lead me to believe.

And another Nancy Drew pose.
(If you've read the books you'll get it)

Greg's sister Jill and her daughter Celia came to visit.

And my Dad came to visit.

I got a new backpacking tent and had some nice trips out in the mountains.

Lydia and I backpacked two sections of The Colorado Trail with our friend Carolyn and her niece Amy.

In the fall Lydia and I took a backroads trip to McClure pass in search of great fall colors.

While at McClure pass we stayed at another historic hotel, The Redstone Inn, one of my favorites.

And... again.

I worked with a fantastic team of ladies to plan a women's retreat for our church.

The retreat was a huge success!

I was so happy to get to see Lydia playing on a worship team again.

Greg and I took the train from Denver to Glennwood Springs.
The scenery was incredible!

We stayed at the historic Hotel Colorado.

As soon as the resorts opened my family were on their boards.
This is at Echo Mt. where Caleb instructs.

In October, one more family wedding.  This time we were all able to go together!

For Thanksgiving we rented a townhouse in Breckenridge.  The kids spent the week on the slopes while the pups and I explored the trails.
